Why I'm teaching. Someone told me "A flame has been ignited in you". "How do I feed the flame', I asked. "You talk to people. The love that you give to them is the love that they will give to you. That's how you feed the flame".

From the start I had one purpose in mind for my teaching: "to help make people think for themselves", or perhaps to teach people to "dare" to think for themselves. Also, I wanted to reach and enrich them.

Courses that I've been teaching at the Academy:
"Exploring Christian Roots" (a 3-semester course) - since 1998
"Spirituality" (a 2-semester course) - since 1999. In 2009 theme was change to "Practical Spirituality".
In 2002 (only) there were computer courses in 'How to use Quicken' and 'Saving Photographs in the Computer'
In 2005 first at the summer classes and later as a semester course I lectured on "Gnosticism".
In 2007 summer lectures were given on "the First Axial Age", based on Karen Armstrong's work The Great Transformation. The Fall semester allowed for further elaboration.
The Summer lectures in 2008 were about "Q" and they too were followed by a Fall course with extended information.
Fall 2009 saw Q "revisited" offering many details about the complexity of it's origin and giving deeper insights in many of it's sayings.
